Root cause of corruption
...We always take things for granted,,,even every morning while reading the news paper or sipping through a cup of tea,,,we planned for big and just pass the blame on politicians...whatever happening in India today are due to for this god damn politicians!
Yes to some extent its not a lie..!!!! But do we have that much moral guts to pass the blame on them at least on corruption!
May be people will not agree to my views but I would surely share some thoughts...few years back was traveling from kolkata to Jamshedpur,,,and the train was completely crowded with students,,some Bank P.O exams was scheduled very next day,,,Luckily got a seat and besides me two young chaps were discussing without bothering about anything....
One has already being selected for SSC graduate levels exam and waiting for the appointment letter...
The other guy said,,wow that's awesome ,,so are you interested in CBI or in narcotics or in Income Tax department,,,,the guy said I will join Income Tax as you know there is risk of life in other ones but Income Tax is safest and the best part is you hardly need to spend any money from your salary,,,to my utmost surprise the guy concluded yes,,,if you are posted in a metro like Mumbai ,one or two raid will fetch you more than one lakh dude,,just a phone call that's enough ...tum to "lakho me kheloge"...
and the guy smiles like he has just fought for the freedom of India and got the freedom...!
and first time i realize we should not blame the politicians rather the society,,the person who has not even joined the government organization is planning for how much bribe he would take for one raid!!!!
Incredible,,,this is what our mentality,,and I can bet two thirds of the people joins government organization just for this....
Young generations who are in 20's have this devastating thoughts which would one day make remaining one thirds of the guys who really wants to serve the motherland vulnerable..
There is few great government servants who wants to serve the country like Ashok Khemka,,but they are very few..
The best brains are today do not want to join Government services because they think its a dustbin so why would someone go and become untidy..but it will stale if not cleaned regularly,,who will understand ...the politicians? Almost everyone has a goal for themselves not for the country. If people wants to revolt in one year corruption will be rooted out....
Now someone would say why we need to bother about all those things when we already have a representative in assembly or parliaments? yes there is a point..but are you sure he was your representative?,,,because we Indians hardly vote for individuals,,we vote for parties and because of this even a known rapist, goonda becomes a MP! Incredible! It happens only in India!!
Vote for the credential for the candidates not for the party! Yeh janta ka pratinidhi hai party ka nhi...
I am amazed to see there is a presidential debate in America,,,and we have rallies!(?)where people are paid to come.....Now again blame on politicians,,,,!No they are corrupted because we allow them to do so.....
We as society are addicted to corruption,,,even while standing in a queue for a movie ticket,,we are ready to pay some extra bucks to the ticket blacker if it suits the pocket ...and we just shrug of as if its nothing,,,,but its also a corruption...may be a small one but seeds for the bigger one is already started germinating!
Even a kid does not stop crying as long a chocolate is offered!
But yes may be we will witness some thing great if the people started awakening,,,may be we can scrap the big notes to stop the window shopping in corruption outlet...or some serious sanctions against the tax heavens..Few movements already have been taking place may be will see there won't be any bribes while getting the driving license, passports to our kids..(aam aadmi(:-)) ka aam soch limited to passport and Driving license)

Is not it enough...or we do need more to wake up??????
I am very much fascinated about India...everything
fascinates me,,,I like to dig beyond the darkness of past and search and very
amazed to know that India was the wealthiest nation not too much ago just 300-400
years back....in every respect...
But what happened which makes India what it is today????
No need to search or going through the books ,,rather ask
your own self,,,you will get to know...its us... yes we make it the way it is
today...
Just read somewhere that last Nizam of hyderabad was one of
the all time richest of world if we consider the inflation with a whopping 236
billion dollar!..India has 600 princely states
and Hyderabad was just one....
India never invaded any country because it never required to
do so...by any means technically, spiritually or economically it was the
Best...
Columbus never wanted to discover America rather India,,because
king of Spain was so greedy to hear the affluence of India that he could not
resist to send Columbus to search for India,,,by mistake he discovered America..and
with just 300 years plus legacy America is the largest of economy ..but India has at least 5000 years of
civilization..I just don't believe on Max muller's Aryan Invasion
theory..(every old is not gold,,,Indian historian and archaeologist need to work
on this rather copying what their western counter part says)....
We are not at all patriotic... sad to say but its true
fact...we always want that someone should do it for us,,even I am writing this
blog and hoping someone would read it and say,,wow! India has so many great
things lets do something!
Mahmud of Ghajni looted India 17 times,Mughals(at least they
are better they stay back in India) Britishers raped the economy of India
for thousands of years and after this also India have scope for being super
power! Incredible...
But whats the main concerns...we never had the platform for
the innovation at least in last thousand years...which the western countries do
have,,,they give a fair chance to the innovator..and we just don't trust on ours
potential...as long as some Jamshedji Tata, Dhirubhai Ambani, Birla, Munjals
does not come and defend our supremacy we give values on western...
We are ready to accept shit in a brown pack as delicious
cake if we find a western brand on that,,no matter how good we Indian produce
the cakes:-) jokes apart but true...
We enjoy watching News hour with Arnab Goswami and after that
we concluded ,,,yes these politicians have looted our money but frankly not even 1% of us wants to be
politicians...why because we want a nice life 10-5 job and common we all know,,,
The worst performer in schools,,the goons they became the
leader,,,and we believe on the symbols of the party and elected them and they
get the license to loot us for next five years and again license is renewed..
I have never given a vote..because I never think the person
who is contesting deserved it....
We are one of the youngest nation in terms of average age of
populations,,,but see our politicians,,,oldest..:-)
Because who will come forward...you,,,me? common dude we are
good at barking,,,not in biting hoping someday someone will do it for us...
We have such great minds that he can take rented
refrigerators for 12 k for Commonwealth games when you can buy an new one in 10k .... Hope the person popped into your mind....:-
I have concluded that I will do something but before that i
need to secure my and my families future ,,may be 10 or 15 years more,,,I will
surely make myself proud of me!!!!
Hope there will be many more ordinary dudes(gals you are
more than welcome!) to come forward and know his/her rights,,,,,
Being selfish is not humane....that makes us little
different than other animals...

Why Farmer suicides
Recently we came across the FDI(http://www.fibre2fashion.com/industry-article/7/604/fdi-in-retailing1.asp) phenomena in Retail…how does it suits the Indian Agriculture industry? As far as other retail goods are concerned I am somehow convinced that it might change the scenario for the betterment of the present situation…
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Farmers%27_suicides_in_India
But for Agriculture I don’t think it will anyway make any sense, rather situation would worsen…
The only thing that could make Indian farmers stopping from suicide or make a handsome living out of farming would definitely be the Minimum support price of the vegetables and the crops they cultivate…
For example if you go to a distant village from the town say Jamshedpur in Jhrakhand, they have vast land of agriculture and farmers cultivate vegetable and mainly paddy and wheat..Whereas for Paddy there is a minimum support price and it does not fluctuate much its in a range of 900-1200 per quintal..
But for vegetables like tomato..the pain is there…I have seen the prices ranging from Rs 1 to Rs 60…whopping 6000% variance,,,
For an acre of land the total cost that would incur to the farmer would be nothing less than Rs 10000 but we generally do not calculate the salary of the people who spends day and night for this land,,,if at least 100 rs per day then also for three months it would be around Rs. 10000 more so total Rs.20000 and it would produce around 10 quintal of tomatoes..if everything goes fine..now if the market is good farmer can get a price of rs 5 per kg in village market only…then farming surely a lucrative business….but the pain comes when the price goes down to Rs 1..so it’s a 10k loss per acre which is surely a big chunk of money the farmer going to lose…
Now the other part of the story…people in Jamshedpur they buy the tomato at a price of rs 20/Kg on an average for whole of the year…where as the cost of producing tomato would be Rs 2 per Kg if the farmer has his own land…so a whopping 18 rs per Kg they are paying extra…neither the Farmers nor the customers are benefited..then Who? Yes here comes the middleman.Who just bring the goods from the famers and sale at least 3000-4000% profit…
So if Government can fix the price of each good in a range of say 25% profit for the farmers and 25% profit for the middle man and 25% profit for the retailers who sells the vegetables…but the price need to be decided by the group of farmers who really cultivates not by the people who thinks paddy stem is used for furniture! Jokes apart…..customers will be happy…they can buy the things at least 100% less price whole year…and inflation bound to come to bottom….
Can have a range of price like farmers can't sell the price more than Rs X per kg and less than Rs Y kg depending on off and on seasons... so it that way black marketing also can be checked to some extents...
It might change the scenario and a farmer’s revolution is a due then…they are the people who fed India but the most neglected one…
A policy need to be implanted..there will be time when people will have an industry based on agriculture and farmers does not have to suicide…make my words….Just need a proper planning commission…who does not plans out of the theory given by western jerks..rather by few practical people….
